Prototype "Minnigraph" Stereo Camera, c. 1914
The only known example. Stereo camera for 35mm film (single picture 33 x 45 mm). With 2 "Minnigraph, Berlin" lenses, covered exposure counter, German exposure table, body dimensions (without fittings): 7 x 2 1/3 x 2 in., black paint. Shutter needs adjustment. – Provenance: From designer Waack of the Askania camera company, Berlin, and longterm president of the German DGS (German Society of Stereoscopy). – Inspected and appraised by stereo specialist and famous author Prof. Werner Weiser as an extremely rare and important camera. – A fascinating collector's item and museum piece.
