A George III oak clothes press of small proportions, Carmarthenshire/Cardiganshire circa 1760-1790, the moulded cornice over two single rectangular fielded panel doors, opening to reveal two fixed shelves, over three short frieze drawers, above two long drawers all fitted with replacement brass swan-neck handles raised on shaped bracket feet, 114cm wide, 179cm high, 52cm deep Note: This press cupboard is the example shown in Richard Bebb's book Welsh Furniture 1250-1950, A Cultural History of Craftmanship and Design volume II page 81 numbered 790 as Teifi Valley
