ANCIENT AMBER WITH INSECTS Between 35 and 40 million years old, this clear amber, almost 1½"x1"x¼", taken from the Baltic Sea in Kalingrad in far west Russia, formerly Prussia, contains insects that lived during the time of the dinosaurs, including a moth, beetle, and midges together with other inclusions and plant matter. Accompanied by enlarged color images. A fascinating fossil resin. MB: $80
