16. NECKLACE WITH SCARAB AMULET Egyptian, ca. 600 BC (26th Dynasty). Approx 18" in length, this multicolored tubular and disc-shaped faience and glass bead necklace is fashioned with a ¾" carved scarab beetle amulet that displays hieroglyphic markings on its underside. Once an adornment of ladies of wealth and nobility, these ancient beads and amulet have been restrung with modern fittings. MB: $100
