304. ROBERT A. MCCOY (d. 1893). Union brigadier general with the 11th PA Reserves, serving at Gettysburg. He was wounded in action at Second Bull Run and taken POW at Gaines Mill. CDV quarter-length portrait in uniform taken after his release from Libby Prison. Boldly signed at bottom mount beneath sentiment. H. P. Paige, Washington, DC, backstamp.
