(1892 - 1951) Head of the Economic Office of the SS and ultimate overseer of the concentration camp system. It was Pohl who turned his victims' dental gold, eyeglasses, hair, etc. into cash for the SS, using the infamous "Max Heiliger" Swiss accounts. Captured and executed in 1951. Pohl thanks the important scientist for sending a photograph of a productive field, commenting: "...Nature cannot be more impressive with natural and chemical fertilization...I passed on your files to the Reichsfuhrer-SS who will be amazed...". Alwin Siefert (1890-1972) is considered one of the most important representatives of the early ecology movement and biodynamic agriculture.
