ANTI-SEMITIC VICHY FRENCH POSTER
Vichy France anti-Semitic poster, 31" x 46", shows a Vichy French navy sailor in Dakar wagging his finger at a red-faced "fishing lure" represented Charles DeGaulle which is being offered by a nervous Winston Church and a caricatured Jew, both seated in a leaky boat representing England. The French battleship Richelieu has its cannons pointed at the enemy. The poster is captioned: "With de Gaulle there, your going to get nothing, folks". Folds, some edge wear, else very good. Sticker on verso indicates poster came from the village of St. Cyr en Pail.
