ANTIETAM CAMPAIGN MUSTER ROLE
Muster Roll of the 91st Penn. Vols., 2pp. folio, "Camp below Harpers Ferry", Nov. 1, 1862. The roll, filled out by Capt. John Casner and signed by Col. E. M. Gregory list 42 officers and men, mentioning at bottom that they had arrived at Antietam on Sep. 18 (just after the battle) and were sent into Virginia on a reconnaissance mission where one man is listed as missing. On Oct. 30 they crossed the Potomac and camped at Harpers Ferry the following day. Typical soiling and wear at folds, still quite good. The 91st would later serve at Gettysburg, Spotsylvania, and at the Crater.
