GETTYSBURG LUTHERAN SEMINARY RELIC
Relic of the Lutheran Seminary at Gettysburg, a building used to locate Confederate forces and which was later used as a hospital. Present is a 1 1/2" x 2 1/4" section of aged wood removed from the beams in the cupola of the structure, recovered during restoration. Also included is a Minie ball bearing museum or collection markings showing it had been recovered in the vicinity of the seminary. Both are double-matted in a display box with images of the structure and descriptive label.
