GETTYSBURG TRAIN STATION RELIC
A fine Gettysburg relic, a 2 1/2" x 1 1/2" section of weathered wood taken from molding originally attached to the Gettysburg Train Station. This piece, present when Abraham Lincoln arrived at the station on November 18, 1863 to dedicate the cemetery and make his famous address, is offered with a lead Minie ball recovered at Culp's Hill. Both are set in a display box, double matted with description and copy of a period photo of the station.
