(1890 - 1969) 34th President of the United States, Supreme Commander of Allied forces in Europe during World War II and largely responsible for the successful invasion on D-Day. Nice content T.L.S. as President on White House letterhead, 1p. 8vo., Washington, Oct. 31, 1960 to noted cartoonist and caricaturist Osacr Berger. In part: "...Thank you for sending me a copy of the cartoon you drew in honor of my seventieth birthday...as it appeared in a number of newspapers. I like it very much and I am gratified by the compliment...". One fold, else near fine.
