(JIM THORPE 1909 FOOTBALL SIDELINE PASS)
Very rare and desirable "Side Line Bench" pass the Nov. 20, 1909 football game between the Carlisle Indians, for whom the legendary Jim Thorpe played, and Brown University. The red pass is 3 3/8" square, and is printed on one side with the rights and privileges attendant thereto. The team, coached by Pop Warner, played Brown in New York and lost 8-21, finishing the year with a very respectable 8-3-1 record. Verso scuffed form prior mounting, else fine with original string attachment.
