15 warm-toned photographs. Each image, 8 x 6 in. - 9.5 x 7.5 in. mounted to 20 x 16 in. Reising linen-rag four ply museum board. All printed directly from D.F. Barry's negatives housed at the Denver Public Library. Published in 1982 as a limited edition by Paul H. Harbaugh and the Denver Public Library.  A total of 150 sets were made; this is number 61.  Portfolio contains an introduction by Royal B. Hassrick, and a list of plates in portfolio. Housed in an archival linen covered clam-shell case.

Also included are images of Chief Joseph, Sitting Bull, and Arikara Scout from Portfolio III of this series.

The Arikara Scout has been trimmed.
