hand-forged blade which has been double marked with Jourdain's signature copper crescent moon; opposite side further embellished with scrolling florals and the initials j.j.; tulip-shaped bowl detailed with two thin copper bands; long, file branded haft, length 22.75 in., width of blade 2.75 in.
mid-19th century

Pipe has been smoked using current handle; handle is old although may not be original; blade has been cleaned.
