This piece has medium - significant grime build up to the base and top of the shade. There is light tarnish throughout the shade with some light gilt loss. It is possible this piece was recently re-gilt, the gilt appears newer especially on the body. There is a light amount of scuffing and chipping to the bottom edge of the base with gilt loss, scuffs about pen tip sized - .5" long lines. Two of the lower red slag panels appear to have been broken and have some signs of repair (melted glass areas). One of these shades as a few slight 2" hairline cracks that are not running entirely through the slab. The metal around the finial has some slight bend There are a couple .25" diameter spots of new soldering.
