Very well maker-marked, 19th century California saddle is all original, built with a very narrow fork, square skirts, high 4 3/4" cantle, basketstamped pommel, artistic perimeter stamping/tooling. Mike Graham's Old Cowboy Saddles & Spurs indicates that A. Weilheimer was in business from 1879-1882 and we have located a DOD for Aaron as 12/28/1900. The saddle is in remarkably good condition with a nice patina for its 125 years on the planet
