Description
This is a fantastic Time-Capsule group of Pre-War American Movie memorabilia fresh from a Local New Haven CT Estate. A member of th family owned a Theatre in New Haven during the 1930's and 1940's and here is a sampling of the item that crossed his desk: Trade magazine such as Box office and The Exhibitor, RKO Radio Pictures portrait books with die cut inserts of movie stars like Ann Harding, Irene Dunne, and Katharine Hepburn. There are Columbia Pictures books advertising the great writers and directors of the day. United Artists Book with Movie Star photos of Joan Crawford and Norma Shearer, and a full press kit for Little Women, several Scripts, a Projector Advertising Watch fob, a crusty Metro Goldwyn-Mayer Sales Convention award from 1937, several film reels, (news, advertisements, person films, condition unknown) and many more pieces of paper, books, Ephemera and more. This is a large and heavy lot, that will require special shipping.
