A pair of 19th century Samson porcelain figures, modelled as Derby-style musicians, he with tambourine, ruff, gilt floral waistcoat, striped breeches, and gilt-enriched blue mantle with yellow lining; she a zither-player with gilt dress matching his mantle, each with bocage on rococo-style gilt scroll base, pseudo Derby marks beneath, 10.5" (26.5cm) high. (2).
Condition
He- has previously held an item (drum beater?), small loss to left index finger and to thimble. She- good order. No restoration to naked eye.
