HISTORICAL: A 4to hardbound album containing over 40 A.Ls.S., clipped signed pieces, a few cards etc., by a variety of famous individuals, mainly political leaders, most individually lightly mounted to pages and a few loosely inserted, including Henry Brougham, Robert Peel (A.L.S., 20th July 1852, with some large areas of paper loss at the head), 3rd Earl Mount Cashell (interesting A.L.S. regarding the colonies, provision of corn and immigration, 1840), William Blamire (A.L.S. regarding a Bill introduced by Lord Brougham, 1840), John Strange Winter (A.L.S. with her real name, H. E. V. Stannard), Walter William Ouless, Viscount Howick (3rd Earl Grey), John Henry Newman, William Huskisson, Joseph Chamberlain, Lawrence Alma Tadema, Henry Irving, Ellen Terry, Duke of Wellington (autograph envelope wrapper signed with his initial W and bearing a red wax seal), Octavia Hill etc. Some pages loose, the album lacking its spine and the back board loose, generally G €125-190
