Conditions consistent with age and use. Jesus and the Cross: Large losses to paint throughout, especially in the bottom two-thirds of the piece. Tin is slightly warped throughout, especially in the top left corner. Jesus and Child: A ½ loss is observed at the bottom center, with a ¼ loss to the left. Two small losses are noted in the center – one on the child’s lips and one on Jesus’ ear. Scattered small losses are noted along the edge. A small hole is seen at the top of the panel – probably used for hanging. Two lovely examples.
