March 11, 1963, Autograph Letter Signed, “D. Ben-Gurion,” 1 page, 7" x 4.5,” Choice Very Fine. Torn from a pad, this letter has uneven right and top edges, and otherwise in in excellent condition. This letter, written in blue ink on translucent, lined paper, was written at Sdeh Boker kibbutz in the Negev Desert of Israel to Sol Schwarz, Albany, New York. It reads in full: "Dear Mr. Sol Schwarz - Many thanks for your moving friendly letter. So far you guessed rightly that after my retirement I am busier than ever. I am sorry I haven't got here my photo. As soon as I get one it will (be) sent to you. Yours - D. Ben-Gurion". Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. This will make a valuable addition to an Autograph Collection or a collection of Judaica.
