Boston & Maine 6” A&W Bellbottom Lantern

Item Details

Description

This is an unusual Adams & Westlake 6" tin top frame. It is all original meaning the bell is also an A&W product. Note the low collar on the fount. The A&W patent is hard to read on the base of the bell. The stamping is faint. The frame shows no damage but it needs some surface rust removed. There are not a lot of 6" A&W frames of any kind. You typically see Railroad Signal Lamp & Lanterns or Deweys on the B&M 6" frames. The 6" barrel style globe has a hook crack on the back that is hard to miss. The true value of this lantern is the frame.
