A wonderful solid gold Tiffany cane. The smooth "L" handle is 2" high and 3 1/2" to the side. On one side it is inscribed: "E.T.G." in fancy script for the owner. It is marked at the base: "Tiffany & Co. Makers, 18ct. Gold" and the "m" mark that started in 1907. The handle unscrews from a brass mount for security or storage, a feature present on many Tiffany canes. The shaft is malacca that ends with a 1 1/3" horn ferrule. The overall length is 36 2/3" and the condition is very good with some minor dents in the soft gold handle. It is ca 1910, and it is a marvelous solid gold example from America's premier precious metal cane maker. Estimate: $3000-$4000.
