Damage to spout, but otherwise intact. Ex New Orleans private collection; a pinched type with saucer base, H: 2 3/4 in (7 cm). Ex New Orleans private collection; A nice pair of glazed pottery vessels, Islamic, c.9th - 11th Century. The first a single handled pitcher with trefoil mouth, ringed foot and attractive turquoise and yellow and white glaze. H: 5 1/4 in (13.3 cm); a globular jar with long neck, mouth missing. Attractive brown, yellow and turquoise glaze. H: 3 1/4 in (8.3 cm). Ex Southern Californian private collection; The last 2 Persian pottery pieces, c. 12th-13th Century AD. The first a large lid with a lower lip leading up to a funnel shaped top missing its knob. Traces of a light blue glaze and some iridescence remain. H: 3 2/5 in (8.6cm), D: 4 1/8 in (10.5cm). The second is possibly an ornament or applique of some sort with traces of turquoise glaze still remaining, D: 3 1/8 in (7.9cm). Both pieces have some chipping around the edges.
