A group of 14+ ancient bronze objects from Egypt and the Near East. Lot includes 6 Egyptian bronze objects, Late Period, c. 664 - 30 BC, - an amulet of Osiris, a uraeus or erect cobra from the headdress of a statue, a bronze beards from Egyptian bronze figure of a god such as Osiris, the upper portion of a bronze figure of Harpokrates with tall solar headdress, a headdress from a statue consisting of a solar disk between cow’s horns, and a flail from a figure of Osiris. Also included is a small Byzantine bronze cross, a Near Eastern bronze bell and a mix of other odds and ends. Largest piece (flail) measures 4.3 x 3.9 cm. Ex Judge Elbert Eli Farman to his daughter, Lois Farman (wife of Lt Gen R. C. Richardson Jr.) to their only son Gen R. C. Richardson III and to the present Richardson family.
