An Edwardian silver trinket box of oblong form, embossed in high relief with floral scrolls, the hinged lid with gadrooned rim and the body raised on four claw feet. Hallmarked Birmingham 1908, maker's mark indistinct. Length measuring 5 1/2 inches (14 cm), weight 5.7 ozt (179 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Heavy wear to the embossing with some loss of detail and some holes worn through. The hallmarks are clear and legible, maker's mark indistinct.
