Description

PSS An original colour printed poster, "Nelson Mandela, NUM Life Honorary President, To the Mineworkers of South Africa, With my compliments and best wishes. The future of this country is in the hands of the people, and you form the pivot of the struggle for change in this country", n.d., c.1993. Poster incorporates a 340x300mm colour image of Mandela, that has been clealy signed in black ink by Nelson Mandela and dated (in another hand?) 24.03.94. Some edge wear and other occasional folds and creases. Approx. 50mm closed tear at head, but nevertheless a striking item, with a very bold and clear signature from Mandela. Overall size approx. 600 x 420mm.
