East Greek, Ca middle 6th century BCE. Superb archaic Greek terracotta applique of Dionysus - famous for his drunken banquets - shown reclining on his couch, large rhyton filled with wine, with much original red and white pigmentation. 3-3/4" H by 3-1/2" L.
