A FEDERAL STYLE POLYCHROME PAINTED VERRE ÉGLOMISÉ AND MAHOGANY BANJO CLOCK, BY E. HOWARD & CO., BOSTON, the circular white painted dial with black Arabic hour chapters, signed "E. HOWARD & CO. BOSTON," above a pylon form neck centering a conforming reverse painted and gilt spread winged bald eagle over the United States shield, flanked by reticulated scrolling brass wings, above a box form case enclosing a maritime scene of battling masted warships flanked by flaming torches, over ball trim and a tapering fluted stem ending in an acorn pendant, surmounted by a spread winged bronze eagle.
