AN ANTIQUE CHINESE TURQUOISE, LAPIS, CARNELIAN, AND WHITE JADE MOUNTED GILT BRONZE DOUBLE GOURD TABLE SCREEN, LATE QING DYNASTY, LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY, the flat backed double gourd body partitioned by celestial billowing ribbon-tied handles of stylized blossoms, flanking sides of carved turquoise fruiting branches within conforming rope twist trim, amidst a ground of engraved good luck symbols centering two reticulated white jade circular plaques with auspicious symbols and character letters enclosed by a ring of lapis beading, beneath a ruyi banded collar and stylized fretwork rim, on a similarly decorated flaring foot with fretwork incised trim, raised on a shaped rectangular carved hardwood shelf.
