RARE BACTRIAN BRONZE CLAW MACE HEAD. Bactria, c. 2100 - 1600 BC. The axe-like object with four prongs and bronze pins within to attach to a wooden handle. 4 inches. Provenance: The collection of a prominent Egyptologist by descent assembled in the early part of the 20th century and brought to the US in 1954 with the family.
