Fine Quarter Plate Tintype of Buckeye Trooper, a superior portrait of an unknown "Co.F. OVC" horseman with plumed Hardee hat cradling an obsolete eagle pommel sword, the photographer's prop, for the camera. The piped enlisted shell jacket with subdued yellow tinting appears to be a twelve-button variant.
Undamaged plate in EXC condition with strong clarity and dirty cover glass. Housed in a damaged composition case.
