Irish Brigade Haversack Relic of KIA Fair Oaks, VA, cover flap in brown leather with stenciled inscription Liet. T. King 88th Regt. N.Y. Vol. Lieutenant Timothy King was commissioned 2nd Lieutenant 10-7-1861 as part of the famous Irish Brigade and was killed in action at Fair Oaks, Va. along with 129 others from his unit. Includes Soldier and Regimental Histories. Likely a battlefield pick-up shortly after the battle.
Relic, somewhat brittle but still pliable, artillery badge tarnished brown and dents. Both VG for relics.
