Emile Galle Enameled Glass Chameleon Vase. 2 part vase has a plinth base with a Bombay form with open top and splayed feet, enamel decorated with colorful borders, Greek key pattern and butterfly on the front. Top has a long rectangular form with pegged bottom fitting into the base; enamel decorated with delicate flowers and filigree, chameleon figures on the lower left front and upper right rear. Has a few minor chips along the fitter edges, gilt highlights have some light wear; both parts singed E. Galle a’ Nancy, No. 2. Stands 12 in. high.
