Extravagant Patriotic WWII Show Girl Costume, includes headdress and bodice made with wire frame covered in purple and lime green velveteen, cape made of cream satin outside, green satin lining. Towering headdress speckled with rhinestones, with 3-dimensional fighter planes engaged in dogfight against a cloudy sky, one plane with stars on wings shooting at a plane with swastikas on wings, with chin strap, approximate height 28" x width 26". Bodice decorated with gold braid intertwined with silver sequins, left shoulder piece with 3-dimensional naval ship, guns on deck, right shoulder bearing a tank, approximate length 48" x back width 28". Cape depicts a scene rendered in rhinestones and sequins of a plane going down in a blaze of fire, explosions around plane, approximate length 64" x width 84".
Some sequins and rhinestone loss, chin strap frayed, satin bodice lining ripped, light stains on bottom of cape.
