(2) FRAMED SIGNED ENGRAVINGS BY HECTOR DE ROUSY Two framed signed engravings by Hector de Rousy. His signature on the left is in ink and a J. Jacques signature on the right is in pencil. One depicts to figures, a mother and child, participating in a religious ceremony of some sort (image size: 13 x 8.25"). The other engraving depicts the same mother and child participating in a different religious ceremony (image size: 13 x 8.25"). Imagery is Greco-Roman in style with some Latin text in both. Writing on verso of one of the frames suggests that the pieces were purchased in 1867. Size: 14 x 20.5" (framed)

Water damage to both pieces, one slightly more significant than the other, on the left lower corners. Some cosmetic damage to front of the frames.
