Throughout 24 pages Stern depicts his hardships during the holocaust: Ghetto in DragomireÅŸti, Maramures region, Romania, around Passover 1944; actions, rides in cattle wagons, arrival in the camp, daily life in the camp, transfer to Ellrich camp and some other events (the content of the notebook was not thoroughly examined).
The writing style gives the impression that Stern hurried to write his memories, in order to document his experiences reliably and in great detail.
