Signed and inscribed
National Museum of Racing Hall of Fame inductee Nashua became only the second horse to earn more than $1 million. After the death of his owner, William Woodward Jr.'s Belair Stud, he became the first Thoroughbred sold for $1 million or more. Bred to be a stayer, Nashua won both the Belmont and Preakness Stakes, earning him the Horse of the Year title.
