A Navajo sand painting depicting buffalo with Yei between them, polychrome on cloth. This is an example of a now scarce medium, whereby an otherwise ephemeral sand painting made for use in the Chant by Medicine Men was recorded on cloth. This example was obtained from Native American Art specialist Jim Conley around 1992/3. 33 ½ in (85 cm) square. Cf. G.A.
