A monumental Louis XV-style boulle-work mantel clock, eight-day time-and-strike, countwheel strike, having a painted floral case with applied finial and gilt mounts, painted back board and floor, dial signed Balthazard. Paris, movement signed Vincenti & Cie; ht. 38.5, wd. 18, dp. 8 in.

Condition

Missing bell hammer, some paint loss. Multi-piece dial in excellent condition. Movement not tested. Cowan's does not guarantee the working condition of this clock.
