Edwin Meaders comes from a family of notable folk art potters in White County, Georgia. He is the son of Cheever and Arie and the brother of Lanier Meaders. Edwin's grandfather, John, opened the Meaders pottery in 1893. Edwin is best known for his unique and whimsical roosters.
