Description
15TH - 17TH Century Egyptian Terracota jug. Terracotta tapered ovoid jug having a basket type handle and pour lip. Unglazed, natural terracotta and cream color surface. Minor base rim chip and a few rim chips; a 1†original piece reattached in the side of the vessel with restoration over the breaklines, a small area of surface loss on the front of the vessel. Size: 10 1/2 inches. Private NYC collection, acquired Hans Schulman, NYC, 1959.
