Late period, ca. 700 - 30 B.C. Egyptian wood panel with figure of amset. Wooden panel painted in multicolors depicting the standing figure of Amset, the human headed son of Horus, guardian of the liver. Some paint restoration to the torso of the figure, scattered losses. Size: 13-1/2 inches height. Collection of Robert J. Molnar, Hillsdale, NJ, acquired 1960s.
