MILITARY GOLD BRAID AND LEATHER BELT WITH AMERICAN EAGLE METAL BUCKLE, C1917:military gold braid and leather belt with gilt metal eagle 'E Pluribus Unum' buckle, Also includes a metal box used to store the belt with the manufactures plate on the lid inscribed: "William H. Horstman, Philadelphia". From the Frederick Moulton Alger (1876-1933), estate, Civil war soldier, U.S. cavalry, Spanish American War with Teddy Roosevelt, colonel in the U.S. Army during World War I; director, Packard Motor Company.

shows tarnish to the buckle and wear to the leather, chips to paint in metal box, GA.
