Item Details

Description

French, 20th Century. Regence Style parcel gilt fauteuil with a shaped leather padded back surmounted by a shell and foliate crest, joined by padded arms to the serpentine seat, raised on molded cabriole legs headed by shell carving and ending in foliate scrolled toes. The leather all stamped in gilt with continuous Greek Key and bound within decorative brass tacs. Height 41", width 24.75" (arm to arm), seat depth 21", seat height 26".
