Likely British, Late 19th/Early 20th century. Set of twelve matching heraldic or armorial porcelain plates with red winged gryphon at center of tondo on white ground with cobalt blue and peach undulating ribbon and foliate banding on edge with gilt accents. Verso with crimp marks. Diameter approximately 10". Provenance: Estate of Mr. Charles Edward Brodnax "Ned" Hansell, Mimosa Hall, Atlanta, Georgia.
