Description
Guy de Neyrac (French, 20th century), two Parisian watercolor and ink on paper scene of notable architectural view of the city comprising of one depicting the Palais Garnier opera house, the other with street scene with chateau at end of street with arch accented front. Each signed lower right, titles of work in pencil lower left under mat. Each stamped on back by artist pertaining to reproduction rights. Framed approximately 26.75" x 32". Sight size approximately 18.125" x 24.125". Provenance: Estate of Mr. Charles Edward Brodnax "Ned" Hansell, Mimosa Hall, Atlanta, Georgia.

Condition
Toning to both sheets. Speckled foxing throughout both watercolor paintings from humidity—Palais Garnier with more severe damage. Watercolors appear to not have been cut down. Watercolors connected to white to cream colored mat with hinging tape at top. Minor gesso, splitting and finish losses to frames commensurate with age, not particularly noticeable.
