Two 'Arctic Down' quilted petticoats, English, circa 1865-70. both with printed trade labels, in colourful floral and paisley printed cottons; together with a pair of chamois inner breeches bearing the name 'Peachey' to the waist c.1860-80; and a red and white striped crochet wool petticoat (4)

Condition

• Down petticoat with blue label - small darned repairs to the back and very faint bleaching to the print iin these areas too but because the design is so busy its not immediately noticeable. Bleach mark to centre back hem approx. 2.5cm diam. Otherwise good, fresh appearance • Down petticoat with white label – good condition, very fresh appearance, faint bleach mark approx. 3x1cm but not immediately noticeable • Crochet petticoat c.1910 – good condition • Chamois breeches – grime marks on exterior from storage otherwise good condition, clean and fresh inside
