It was crafted at the studios of the official Star Trek prop makers, Prop 'R Effects circa 1993-1994. It is made of brass. The pin comes from the collection of James Latta, Curator/Archivist of The Museum of Science & Fantasy, and includes a signed letter of Provenience from Mr. Latta. Collar Pin is approx .05".
