Mad Max Bolt Action Rifle Prop - The MAS Modèle 36 was a military bolt action rifle used by the French in WWII. Over a million of these were made, and after the war were used in several other "skirmishes", and then went out into the open market, becoming a favorite weapons for "marauders". That is why it was used as a background prop in the uber-marader post-apocalyptic film, "Mad Max" (1979) as a background prop. This is an actual Manufacture d'Armes de Saint-Étienne (MAS), which has been rendered non-functional used in the production. (Approx 36" long).
